Something like that. The Russian State monopoly that owns and manages Russia's nuclear power plants is buying Israeli electronics company ECI. I worked at the ECI campus in Petach Tikva (they paid on time, which is J's first criterion if a company is healthy). The cafeteria was full of attractive Russian Jewish girls (second criterion). Maybe the Russians regret that they left them out and want them back. Or they want a reason to visit Tel Aviv beaches.

Your headline is backwards.

In the back of my mind I think that is happening. Russia today lacks the mind-power to even maintain its nuclear infrastructure and they know it. Russians are a good natured people with beautiful songs, but its intelligentzia was always foreign: German, French, Jewish. All gone.
"Russians are a good natured people with beautiful songs..."
Vae victis indeed. Brrr!

Not all Russian intellectuals are/were Jewish/foreign. A vastly disproportionate % but not all. Not unlike the US (or any other country where Ashkenazim ever lived).
Whether just the Russians alone will be able to maintain the infrastructure is another question. There is less infrastructure to maintain. A lot of the nuclear plants are either approaching the end of their design life or are of inherently unsafe design (lack containment structures) and should be closed. They have oil money today and can import foreign experts. Even in the Soviet period they did this, whenever they could not just steal the plans.

Russia used to have a native intelligentzia class, but the leadership was always foreign. The Slav tribes imported Swedish leadership, then imported GErmans, French, Greeks etc. Stalin was Ossetian (Jasz), Lenin a mixture of non-Russian peoples, Kaganovich was Kaifenguese (I mean Jewish) and so on. They will need at least four or five generations to develope a native class. Vae victis indeed.
In the meanwhile, we will help them with their nuclear plants.
The Jamin painting is (unintentionally) hilarious - respectable Victorian gentlemen could visit a mainstream salon or gallery and look at (and fantasize about) a BDSM scene that even today is "not safe for work".
As much as I wish it wasn't true that the most accomplished Russians were foreigners (and likely Jews,) the Ukrainian Jew Kogan makes it impossible for me to argue otherwise:

Oistrakh was also an Odessa Jew, of course. In this recording, Kogan out-Heifetzes Heifetz (for variety, a Lithuanian Jew) while backed by an orchestra of mostly Jews (90% according to my old master, onetime concertmaster in Moscow...)
