According to Tel Aviv major, Ron Hulda'i, it is the ''Field of Dreams'' model. If you build it, they will come. It is no coincidence that Tel Aviv was recently named the world¹s best gay city. "It is about building an environment that is supportive," he said. Young digital entrepreneurs tend to be counter-cultural— attracted to cities that are vibrant, diverse and international. One third of the city is under the age of 35, and there is one bar for every 200 residents. If the number of bars per capita is the relevant index, Dublin should have more hi-tech companies than Tel Aviv. But Tel Aviv hosts more than 600 early stage companies. Access to venture capital is, per capita, 20-fold greater in Israel than in the rest of Europe. "If you take the amount of VC per capita, in Europe, it is $7. In the U.S. it is $72. In Israel it is double that," Jan Müehlfeit, Microsoft's European chairman asserted last year.
For an old and tired Jew, born following the Holocaust, this is a miracle. Some (like Ahmedenijad) say that the five or six million Jews are America's brain, but who dared to imagine that Tel Aviv would be the continent of Europe's brain? We are arriving to a point where writing about Zionism's success does not add to our security. I think that Lewontin and Gold tried to demonstrate that we are all the same because it is fatal for us that the dumb masses learn how different we are. January has been very rainy and cold here. I planned to go to the theatre in London, but I had to work extra-hard to pay debts. February will be easier and the March, I hope, bearable. I am still 20% below my top.

Tel Aviv can be a tech hub but it cannot be THE tech hub of Europe. In order to be THE hub you have to attract people of all nationalities (not just Jews of different origins). I don't think Tel Aviv is an attractive city for young non-Jewish Europeans.
Having all that Hebrew around doesn't help. The founders should have stuck to Yiddish and kept the Roman alphabet- my grandfather learned to write Yiddish in Roman letters at a Baron de Hirsch sponsored school. That way Europeans could at least read a menu. Re-inventing a dead language was a miracle but it was not necessarily a good idea in terms of making Israel a part of Europe. Linguistically, it fits more comfortably in the Arabic speaking world but who wants to be part of the Arab world?

That debate ended about the Second Zionist Congress, they decided Palestine and Hebrew. BTW, Herzl and Nordau wanted we speak German.
70% of Israel's population is Orfiental and Arab, yet lately I am less sure Israel is really Middle East. I am meeting and working with Oriental businessmen and started to appreciate them. They have an inner strength and stamina that we dont have. Arab Jews are not Arabs, although I cant see the difference. Iraki Jews are not Iraki, they are another race, a very hardy people.
I would no more expect the Iraqi Jews to be Arabs than I would expect the Hungarian Jews to be Hungarians. The Jews lived in these nations and even interbred somewhat but they maintained strong cultural differences (which are perhaps even more important than genetic differences) and even genetic differences to some extent. Although they may physically resemble each other somewhat, there is a vast difference between an Arab peasant and an Arab-Jewish merchant. Baghdadi Jews were famous throughout Asia for their business acumen - their interests extended to India and even into China. The notion of Oriental Jews as not being that bright lumps them altogether - the cosmopolitan merchant from Aleppo with the tinsmith from the primitive mountains of Yemen.

Baghdad Jews are not brilliant in the Ashkenazi sense, they have no humor nor learning. They have endurance, honesty, politeness, incredibly close family ties. One of my projects is for large Dairy Plant, my contact is a hardworking woman. Asked who owns the dairy, she said it is kibbutz. They are one large family, ownership is collective and every one works very hard. I have never heard of clan ownership of means of production, but it is happening here and now. They imported Italian machinery and are very progressive. The Ashkenazi kibbutzim are dissolving, but these clans are sppearing from nowhere. Now that I know one, I am finding more and more this type of large-family businesses in Israel.
Iraqi Jews are not related to Ashkenazim
If all this technology is some software bullshit about how wonderful it is to be able to monitor your water meter from the iPad, then I suggest you have nothing to crow about. The world is awash with electronic gunk. Firing the self-regarding software buggers is one way to drastically reduce homosexual influence in the population. You know very well that given the sordid history of homosexuality and the corruption of society that inevitably results that Israel is in trouble. Homosexuals cannot be trusted with responsibility for crucial areas such as defense, their depravity clouds any good sense that they have. Herbert Samuel appointed Haj Husseini over someone innocuous from the Nussabeiah clan as Mufti of Jerusalem on the advice of his homosexual secretary - who it can be conjectured loved Arab boys. How then did Husseini repay Mr Samuel? By going to Hitler to persuade him to kill the Jews in Hungary. (Which is one reason I don't buy the Arab sob story of innocent Bedu fooled by the Zionists) The foundations of the British Empire were eaten away by the subterranean pederasts. Don't let it happen to you.

Damn, and they call ME homophobic :)
The Mizrahim and Bukharim are, as J says, very warm and honest, but lack the twisted humor and love for argument that are the best traits of the Ashkenazim. It is easy for me to get along with them (the Persian helps,) but hard to become very close. With the Ashkenazim, it is the opposite. Maybe I can find a girl who is half and half.
Of course you can find her.
Make it easy for her to find YOU!
And here I missed the whole software-gay connection. I always thought programmers were Indian heterosexuals but the scales have been lifted from my eyes and I understand now how remote meter reading furthers the homosexual agenda. All those good family men meter readers made redundant by a bunch of poofters.

"Iraqi Jews are not related to Ashkenazim"
That's not true. Ashkenazi autosomal population genetics is best explained as a mixture of Levantine and (probably southern/southeastern) European elements. The Iraqi Jews, unlike true Iberian-descended Sephardim or even Syrian Jews, lack the European elements, but they share the Levantine component.
Don't speak in platitudes to a Neandertal, J, offer concrete guidance.
K, it is time for your sensitivity training booster.
This semester's topic: "Corrective rape, boer genocide and land seizures - have we gone far enough?" by well known ethicist Julius Malema.
Anon.
The foundations of the British Empire were eaten away by the subterranean pederasts.
One never stops learning. I had noticed gnawing marks in the foundations and suspicious looking droppings near the entrance of the burrows. According to the wiki, subterranean pederasts must continuously be gnawing at something - electrical cables, wood and even cement - to keep their teeth in working conditions. It comes to my mind that a good heterosexual pederast-catcher team or a few patriotic tomcats could have saved the British empire.
