The new Egyptian Parliament, with its Islamic majority, is preparing the country's new Constitution. Just now they are debating the article allowing husbands to have sex with their “dead wives”. That is, having sex with a corpse.
What next? Mummifying dead wives to ensure a willing partner forever. Warm up before serving.
I remember reading Mike Waltari that this was legal and usual in Pharaonic Egypt.
I don't like to make fun of religious customs - Jews have strange ones of their own. Personally I find some goyish customs, such as delaying the funeral for many days and pickling and displaying the made up corpse, to be highly distasteful but they are considered to be entirely normal by goyim. Communists for some strange reason took this to a higher degree and put leader's corpses on permanent display - certainly Marx did not anticipate this but somehow it resonated with their system - maybe the human need for gods in the face of an atheistic system?
Usually these stories get distorted in the press. Islamic law (like Jewish law) prescribes rapid burial so I don't know when this would take place - maybe one last quickie for old time's sake?
There are one hundred million of them. And nuclear weapons are seventy years old technology, Jeep or Sherman tank technology, not rocket science. And they can buy brains and materials from Korea, Pakistan, name it.
It is rocket science. It is 1940's tech, but developed by the greatest (Jewish) minds of that era.. Oppenheimer, Teller, etc. Who does Egypt have that is in that league? They could buy it from someone but they could never build it.
1940 technology is 50 years old and today is not rocket science. Once only America and Europe knew how to build automobiles, today even Iran, Romania, Egypt, India, South Africa and Nigeria have car industries. Most university labs have gas centrifuges everywhere and their professors write quite acceptable textbooks.

This year's Independence Day ceremony focused on water engineering! Don't you have anything to say about it?

It could be worse for Israel. Israel could share a border with Sweden.
Imagine them with nuclear weapons.
Where would Egyptians get nuclear weapons? They are barely smart enough to fix a taxi.

And yet the Iranians seem to be having trouble getting theirs to work. Part of it must be Israeli sabotage, but part is incompetence.
