The Guru Is IN

My daughter has opened her ashram in the Nitzanim sand dunes. Her tent is open to give free advise to teenagers' depression caused by kitchen "toranut", the unfeeling senile (21 y.o.) girl sargeants, those complex sentimental problems, and specially parents and sibling misunderstandings. Her accumulated life experience and wisdom has made her the undisputed oracle of the camp. The pic is with two of her new acolytes. I'm trying to tell her that her army job will be to write down a coherent judicial decision, not to give advise to or correct the judge.

Oracles are entitled to receive "gifts" for their services. At the very least they should give her some ugiyot from home.

They look surprisingly upbeat considering that they have just been conscripted into military service.

They are proud and happy to serve Israel. They are - imagine - Zionists.

Her room is already replete with cheap kitschy bric-a-brac. She eats no ugiyot nor other normal food, she eats only super-expensive honey-covered energy organic "health" bars, like her sisters. Like the coockoo clock and many other evils, it was the Swiss that started that craze with their invention of "granola".

G-d bless her.

It's easy to be proud and happy while there isn't a war going on, J. For her sake, I hope it stays that way.
