International Solidarity for Sebastya

How to combat insidious lying anti-Israeli propaganda? The story of Jewish settlers commanding wild boars to attack Palestinian villages is still on the web. And how those evil Jewish settlements are polluting ancient Palestinian lands with untreated sewage is always front page for them (pic.: Circumcised piss pond in Sebastya).

The fact is that all Jewish settlements treat their wastewater, many recycling them in agriculture, while the untreated sewage of 1.5 million Palestinians flow, by gravity, toward the topographically lower or sea level Israeli cities. The Yarkon river collects all the raw sewage of Nablus and other villages along the streams. To complete the picture, recent Pro-Palestinian sites accuse the settlers of not sharing their treated wastewater with their Palestinian neighbors.

(Just this week the Alon Moreh treated wastewater system started operating (I designed it but it took them three years to build it). The water is not being reused yet because the Municipality set its price higher than Mekorot's drinking water.)

Israel is increasingly sourcing its drinking water from the sea as energy prices are falling (natural gas) and membrane technology is becoming cheaper. The surplus water we supply free of charge to Jordan, because we have a stake in the stability of that Kingdom. And to Ramallah, for the same reason. The malignancy of  Solidarity is difficult to believe.

There is no way to combat this propaganda other than by ignoring it, nor is there a need to combat it. As the Arabs say, the dog barks as the caravan passes by.

I missed the one about the Joos commanding wild pigs to act. I won't even bother looking it up. If an animal is wild, then by definition it does not respond to human commands, even from their fellow pigs/Jews.

Alas, Arabs have small brains.
